Composite Materials Machining

The use of composite materials is growing rapidly. These modern materials offer exceptional technical and aesthetic properties, perfectly suited to today’s industrial demands.

Composite Machining

Cutting, drilling and finishing of composite parts.

Pultruded Profiles

Manufacturing and transformation of reinforced composite profiles.

Why choose composite materials?

  • Resistant to aging
  • Resistant to moisture
  • Resistant to all aggressive substances
  • Halogen-free self-extinguishing
  • Mass-colored
  • Aesthetic features
  • Resistant to 600, 900, even 1200°C
  • Arc resistance
  • Electrical insulation (except carbon fiber)
  • Electrical conductivity (carbon fiber)
  • X-ray transparency (carbon fiber)

A dedicated workshop

Our composite machining room is specially isolated from the rest of the workshop and equipped with an efficient dust extraction system. It allows small and medium batch machining without contaminating metal-dedicated machines.

Frequently machined materials

  • Epoxy fiberglass: FR4, G11
  • Polyester fiberglass: GPO3
  • Bakelite
  • Batex
  • Mica
  • Refractory composites

We do not mold parts. We only work with pultruded and sheet materials.

Some composite projects

  • Airport barriers: visible at Bierset and Gosselies, made of tinted fiberglass, maintenance-free and radar transparent.
  • Firefighter lorry: lightweight, foldable cart for metro interventions.
  • Application examples: composite rods, insulating fishplates, insulating tables, blowing boxes, motor terminals, refractory parts, etc.

Focus: Carbon Fiber

Electrically conductive and X-ray transparent, carbon fiber combines unique technical properties with excellent mechanical strength.

We stock different types of carbon tubes (varnished and unvarnished) to meet your specific needs.
