EREM strengthens its inspection capabilities with 3D scanning
EREM has integrated a portable 3D scanner to strengthen its capabilities in dimensional inspection, reverse engineering, quality control and industrial part analysis.
A new tool for analysing existing parts
3D scanning makes it possible to capture the real geometry of a part directly in the workshop or on site. It is particularly useful when drawings are missing, incomplete or difficult to use.
Main applications
This new technical capability helps facilitate:
- dimensional inspection of industrial parts
- comparison between a real part and a CAD model
- reverse engineering of existing parts
- analysis of complex shapes
- preparation of rework, adaptations or custom manufacturing
- 3D scanning in the workshop or directly on site
A complement to EREM’s expertise
This 3D scanner complements our capabilities in engineering, machining, quality control and industrial part manufacturing. The objective is to reduce uncertainty, speed up technical analysis and support reliable decisions before rework or manufacturing.
From the real part to usable data
With this new capability, EREM can support customers from the scanning of an existing part through to the use of the data for inspection, adaptation, reproduction or custom manufacturing.
